About EMAN.
Established in 2020, EMAN, short for “Extremist Monitoring Analysis Network” (EMAN) focuses on addressing all forms of violent and non-violent extremism and radicalisation, regardless of faith or ideology. Our mission is to expose radical discourse, which usually does not manifest as violent from the outset, but that sows the seeds for future militancy.
We explore new trends within violent and non-violent extremist movements, and assess the impact of extremism on society, civil harmony, public life, geopolitics, and the national security of nation-states.
EMAN produces objective, world-leading research that allows the public, academia, government, and the media to view extremism within all religions and all ideologies from a constructive perspective. The Network aims to become a world-leading curational resource on extremism.
EMAN also maintains a small network of global experts that specialise in the fields of counter-terrorism, CVE, PVE, security, politics and geopolitics.
